Although you don't need an account to browse M-GO, to truly enjoy a customized experience – and to watch content -- you'll need to sign up!

We think most everything you need to know about setting up and managing your account can be found here in our help.  But you're always also welcome to get in touch with us; for details, see Contact Support -- it's easy!


Email Addresses

As the creator of the M-GO account, your email address is your unique username, and you need this to log in. Email addresses can be up to 256 characters in length and may include numbers, letters, underscores, and periods. No other special characters are allowed.

Each profile in the account will also have an email address.  Every time you buy or rent something, we'll send you a confirmation message.  For more information, see M-GO profiles below.  

Plus, every time someone in your account buys or rents a title, M-GO will send an email message to the Admin who created the account, too.

And we may occasionally send you Special Promo Codes and Good Things, too!

Forgot your email address?

If you are the Admin (creator) of the M-GO account and you forgot the email address linked to your M-GO account, please Contact Support.

Admins can also update the email address (and PIN) for other profiles in the account, so if you're not the admin, you can ask your Admin to help... or you can Contact Support.

How can I change the email address I use for M-GO?

If you no longer want to use the email address that is linked to your M-GO account, you can change it:

  1. Log in to your M-GO account and go to account > settings.   If you're using a web browser, to get to your account settings, click the avatar on the right side of the header at the top of the page
  2. In settings > my info, click edit on the card that displays your email address.
  3. Enter your new email address and click done. Your new email address is now linked to the profile in your M-GO account. 


A password must meet a few conditions:

  • Contain at least alphanumeric 6 characters, but not more than 24 
  • Not contain any spaces 
  • Not contain any "special" characters like ? * #  & etc.

Forgot your password?

If you cannot remember your password, click forgot your password? on the login screen. Follow the on-screen steps to have password instructions sent to the email address associated with your M-GO account or Contact Support.

Changing Your Password

Only an Admin (who created the M-GO account) has a password. The password is used to log into M-GO on a device. To edit your password, go to the settings under account, select your info > password, and click edit.



While your password allows you to log in to M-GO, your PIN is a unique 4-digit numeric code used to confirm purchases and to access your personal settings.  

The Admin's PIN is set to 0000 by default, but the Admin may change this.  Each profile in an account also has a PIN.  You can find more information on profiles below.

Changing Your PIN

To update your PIN, under account, go to settings > your info > PIN and click edit.  You'll need to enter a new PIN and confirm it.  If you're using a web browser, to get to your account settings, click the avatar on the right side of the header at the top of the page.

Forgot your PIN?

If you forgot your PIN, you can ask the Admin for your account – that's the person who created the account – to create a new one for you.  If you're the Admin, and you forgot your PIN ... you'll need to Contact Support .


M-GO Profiles

Profiles help make M-GO personal.  On most devices, M-GO supports multiple profiles within the same account. (To see if M-GO is supported on your device, go to  Devices and check out the full list of supported devices.  Note that the list of supported devices keeps growing all the time!)

Profiles let M-GO tailor recommendations for different people using the same account, so if you like action movies but not romance – or could it be the other way around? – M-GO can better help you find Good Stuff to watch!  

There are two types of M-GO profiles, Admin and Basic. Admins can create or modify additional profiles as well as manage billing and other account features, such as monthly spending limits. For more info on monthly spending limits please visit Purchases.

An Admin can create up to 5 additional basic profiles.

How do I add a profile to my account?

Only the Admin (creator of the account) may add additional profiles. To do so, under account, go to settings > profiles and click add.

Can I create multiple Admin profiles?

No, there can only be one Admin per account. The Admin, however, can create up to 5 more profiles. And the Admin can set purchasing abilities and monthly spending limits for each profile. For more info on monthly spending limits please visit Purchases.

Can a basic user change another's profile?

Sorry, if you are not the account's Admin, you can only change your own profile.

Can I use M-GO on more than one device?

Yes! M-GO was designed to work across multiple devices. You can log in to M-GO on up to 5 devices.  Streaming or downloading movie and TV content has certain device-based restrictions due to studio policies; visit the Watching section for more details.

How do I close my account?

We hate to see you go, but please Contact Support  if you wish to close your account.
