M-GO on Your Computer (PCs and Macs)

Using M-GO on the web is easy.  Review the requirements below, and if you're good to go, just point a supported browser to "www.mgo.com/watch" to get started!  Read on for a few good tips.

Create Your Account

You can browse M-GO movies and TV shows without registering, but you need to create an account to purchase or to rent a title, or to take advantage of personalized features, such as recommendations just for you.

To create your account using a supported Web browser:
  1. Go to the M-GO home page.
  2. Click Sign up.
  3. Enter your email address and other required info.
  4. Create a password.
  5. Agree to the Terms of Service and consent to the Privacy Policy.
  6. Click Save & Continue.

For more details, see Account.

Find Stuff You Want to Watch

On the M-GO home page, you can browse for content, or just start typing in the search bar in the header to find Good Stuff. For more details, see Content.

Get Your First Movie or TV Show!

You need to add an active credit card to your M-GO account before you can rent or purchase. If need be, choose the version (SD or HD) of the title you'd like to watch, and then click the rent or buy button; after you've successfully entered your credit card info, continue through the purchase or rental flow and soon you'll be all set.

Note: only the Admin of the account can add or edit credit card information.  For more information, please visit Purchases.

To enter your credit card information
  1. To get to your account settings using a web browser, click the avatar on the right side of the header at the top of the page, then lick account and choose settings.
  2. Select your info and then credit card.
  3. Enter all your credit card information, like name, credit card number, ZIP, etc. and click Save & Continue.

Install Google's Widevine

The first time you go to play an M-GO movie or TV show, you need to download and install Google's Widevine, a plug-in for Digital Rights Management (DRM) and video optimization. Widevine helps prevents piracy and helps optimize streaming video.

The Widevine installation requires you to restart your web browser. You only need to install Widevine once on a device.

If you get an error during the Widevine installation, please restart your device. The Widevine plug-in may have been installed despite the appearance of the error message. If you are still having problems after restarting the device, please Contact Support.

If you're using Safari, note that after you download the Widevine plugin, you'll need to install it manually and then restart your browser.  (You may see a "Thank you for downloading Widevine...." message but that doesn't mean you've actually installed the plug-in.)  To verify you've installed the Widevine plug-in for Safari, under Help, select Installed Plug-ins and review the list.

Watch

Watching movies and TV shows is what M-GO is all about!

After buying or renting a movie or TV show, you have the option to Watch Now or Explore M-GO. If you choose Watch Now, M-GO launches your media player and your video starts playing. If you choose to Explore M-GO, the title is added to your library and you can continue browsing M-GO for more great videos.

Your purchases and active rentals are available in your Library, which, once you've logged in, you can get to from a link in the header, near your avatar, or from the home page. You can view the contents of your Library by "Recent," "Movies," "UltraViolet™," or "TV Shows." Once you've found a title of interest, just click the poster art to begin.

Learn more and get answers to some common questions at Watching.

Enjoy the show!
